Traces of Love (ATV) bore traces of many things besides. It was what they call "found" art, I suppose, a little musical borrowing its songs from the pop repertoire and its characters from familiar archetypes, but with touches of freshness--a strip routine put into reverse, or wayward husband irritatedly finding his desolate wife airing her sorrows simultaneously to both Parkinson and Harty on TV. Alma Cullen wrote it. Jon Scoffield produced. Petula Clark looked good and sounded even better. David Kernan had a moustache, and none of them demanded anything whatsoever.
