For the first time in 32 years, Petula has recorded in German again, for Kaleidoscop - Ihre Groessten Hits, a German version of Kaleidoscope released in August 2003. Besides German and English-language hits and classics, it contains the German version of La premiere fois called Das erste Mal (La premiere fois), as well as I Knew You'd Be My Lover, (the English version of La chanson de Gainsbourg), Starting All Over Again and the unreleased 1974 recording Walking On Air, written by Tony Hatch and Jackie Trent.
